OUR IMPACT

Our organization addresses the urgent need for sexual and reproductive health (SRH) education and support for girls in rural areas of Rwanda. In many communities, discussing SRH is taboo, which leaves many girls without essential knowledge, thus putting their lives and futures at risk. We started this initiative to break the silence and provide comprehensive SRH education, focusing on empowering young girls and preventing the challenges of a lack of information.

We support young girls and women with sustainable solutions to period poverty, including menstrual health education and support with reusable menstrual products.

  • We actively participate in both  community and national level conversations and workshops on   gender, SRHR and youth leadership development by addressing issues that deny girls and women to access opportunities.

We provide educational support for girls and teen mothers living in extreme poverty. In addition to the scholarship, we integrate sexual reproductive health and leadership education in our weekly meetings with the scholars to prepare them for future leaders and allow them to make informed decisions about their bodies.  We partner with each student to develop life skills, promote teamwork, and strengthen academic success so each student can reach her full potential in health, education, and socioeconomic well-being.
